ABOUT

CELEBRATING VERSATILITY AND EXPRESSIVENESS OF JAPANESE CULTURE

Upon entering The Jade Room, guests are welcomed through an entrance graced with photography by Masao Yamamoto and met with a lively and atmospheric space featuring elegant counter seating with jewel green stools and custom commissioned paintings by artist John Jackson.
Tom's menus are led first and foremost by produce and provenance, driven by seasonality and diversity, with a considered coalescence of international expressions. Seated within the serene surroundings of The Jade Room, guests can enjoy dishes created by Tom Aikens - both a la carte and as part of a tasting menu - with seasonally changing plates.

A SERENE AND INVITING SPACE

Just a step out of The Jade Room, is Garden Terrace, sitting 460ft above ground overlooking the city. The six distinguished bamboo oak trees and 200 potted plants transport diners into an enchanted garden within the metropolis of the Toranomon district.

Open throughout the summer season, Garden Terrace has seasonally changing greenery, creating a serene and inviting space where guests are sheltered from the busy pace of city life. Tom Aikens has designed different menus for Garden Terrace that center on seasonality and inspired by mother nature, and guests can enjoy a menu of sharing small plates.

BOTTLED COCKTAILS

The seasonal cocktail menu focuses on collaborations with MITOSAYA distillery in Chiba, to create bottled cocktails unique to The Jade Room + Garden Terrace.

DISCOVERY WINE PROGRAM

With an extensive list of wines from all over the world, we provide our guests with new ‘discoveries’ and journeys through creative pairings with the dishes produced by Tom Aikens.
Similar to how the terms ‘Old World' and ‘New World' imply the regional focus of wines, the term ‘Discovery' refers to countries that are not originally wine-growing regions, but are developing and improving in recent years with many creative winemakers on the rise. Focusing on wines from China, Armenia, the Czech Republic, and Lebanon, where wines have been cultivated and vinified for a long time, we provide our guests with new ‘discoveries' and journeys through creative pairings with the dishes produced by Tom Aikens.

Due to the fluctuating availability of the finest seasonal produce we use, images from The Jade Room and Garden Terrace may sometimes differ from what is served on your visit.
