Tom's menus are led first and foremost by produce and provenance, driven by seasonality and diversity, with a considered coalescence of international expressions. Set within the serene surroundings of The Jade Room, guests can enjoy dishes created by Tom Aikens - both à la carte and as part of a tasting menu - featuring seasonally evolving plates.
Where Serene Space Meets Elegance
For garden terrace dining in Tokyo, The Jade Room offers the so-called Garden Terrace, perched 460ft above the ground and overlooking the Japanese city. The setting stands out for its six distinguished bamboo oak trees and 200 potted plants, transporting diners into an enchanted garden within the Toranomon district.
Open during summer season, Garden Terrace has seasonally changed greenery, creating a peaceful and inviting space where guests can relax. Additionally, Tom Aikens has upgraded the experience by designing different menus that focus on seasonality and draw insipiration from mother nature.

Our seasonal cocktail menu is the result of a series of collaborations with MITOSAYA distillery, based in Chiba, created exclusively for The Jade Room + Garden Terrace, a distinguished Japanese restaurant in Tokyo known for its refined approach to flavour and craftsmanship.

Inspired by the contrast between the Old and New World, the term ‘Discovery’ refers to countries that are not traditionally focused on wine-growing, yet have been growing thanks to multiple creative winemakers. From China and Armenia to the Czech Republic and Lebanon, each label is paired to enhance the flavors of Tom Aikens’ dishes, offering a journey enriched by harmonious pairings.
